[b:2aekgjyw][i:2aekgjyw]in 1975 my dad put his w-30 in a antique tractor pull, the w-30 pulled her heart out for everybody to see, i dont have the picture at the end of her pull, but i remember it she dug herself down to the drawbar with those steel wheels and never stalled the engine.[/i:2aekgjyw][/b:2aekgjyw]

i love that old picture! you can sure tell it's the 70s by looking at the people. i can remember my dad grew a full beard for the bicentenial. my dad had hogs, farmed a couple hundred acres, worked for texaco (oil patch), & was a volunteer fireman. man, seeing those guys watching that pull really pulled back the memories! those were the days!

i'm sure that ol' w-30 would be glad to pull for you again if you give it that tlc you were talking about. that 1600 loadstar isn't too far from being an antique herself. we still have one of them at the harvestore's, but only use it to haul concrete chunks to dump along the ditch banks. i try to start it about twice amonth to keep her limbered up. looks like yours has had the rear end pulled......nice pictures thanks for sharing them.... btw you sure have alot of hay baler's <!-- s:lol: -->http://www.grandpastractor.com.php53-25.dfw1-2.websitetestlink.com/images/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="laughing<!-- s:lol: --> .....matt
